My family and I live in the state of Minnesota in the United States. We have a house full of kids and animals and it’s almost never quiet. Twisted Tastes started as a way for me to share recipes with family and friends who would ask me for recipes when I would bring over for gatherings. I almost never measured the ingredients, used what I had on hand, and only could give them general guidelines (e.g. some of this, a bit of that). I would never make something the same way twice, and it was usually a twist on a classic recipe. This food blog forced me to document the recipes that I created and allowed me to share them easily. I haven’t quit my day job though, as Twisted Tastes is still only a hobby of mine.
